SHOWCASE is a project created by Jan Suchorab that explores fashion shows organized by young designers from Łódź, Poland. Developed during events such as FASHION LEAK and THIS IS THE FASHION DESIGN INSTITUTE, the work moves beyond straightforward documentation, forming a personal dialogue with fashion and its fleeting nature. Positioned both as an observer and a participant, the photographer captures moments where constructed image and lived reality intersect.
The project takes the form of a newspaper publication, featuring a selection of photographs from SHOWCASE alongside the author’s broader fashion portfolio.
Expanding beyond print, SHOWCASE also exists as a series of events that bring together people from the creative industry, creating space for direct, face-to-face connections and fostering collaborations beyond the limits of Instagram. Recent events took place in Łódz, Poland, Warsaw, Poland, Berlin, Germany.
